I never got to finish it, but I (don't laugh.) surprisingly liked Paradise Lost and Dr. Faustus. also, the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy (YES! if you're a fan please comment.) and some books by Donald Miller (Blue Like Jazz and Searching for God Knows What)
